Other Subjects

On this page you will find lots of interesting learning ideas for you to do linked to the foundation subjects.

PE

It is really important to keep ourselves moving especially when we’re at home. The great thing about PE is that you can learn about physical activities, including sports, whilst keeping fit! This half term, our focus will be cricket and tennis. The first lesson will be focused on cricket. Please do not worry if you don’t have all the equipment you need. For a ball you could roll up a pair of sock or use a sponge. For a bat you can use your hand or a book.

Watch the videos below to learn how to play cricket at home.

Art

This half term, we would like you to learn all about Alexander Calder’s sculptures. You might need some extra materials for this module but have a think about what you have in your house that you can use instead. This module is all about shape and movement so think about how you want to incorporate these into your final piece.
