The Rap School was invited into school to run an educational rap and spoken word workshops for year 5 and 6. This was a fantastic opportunity to engage children in alternative music styles whilst learning literacy, poetic techniques and vocabulary through creative writing.
The sessions focused on:
- Poetic devices
- Improving language
- Rhythm
- Cultural awareness
- Performance and confidence building
