Home Learning Feeback

The best thing about Clapgate is the range of extra-curricular lessons and activities the children are currently enjoying. For example: going to the campfire, seeing and interacting with Rufus, tending to the allotments and caring for the chickens.
Parent of KS2 Child
You can talk to teachers about problems with your child and they will offer support and help out the best they can. I would recommend any parents to send their children to Clapgate. The teachers are so helpful and if there is a problem with your child, it is dealt with quickly.

The teachers are by far are they beating heart of this school. They understand my child's strengths and weakness and deliver learning to accelerate her. Work is tailored for my child and she has progressed extensively. She is confident in her work and always wants to do her best for herself and her teachers. I honestly cannot praise the teachers enough. They are amazing and know my girls so well, that they feel comfortable enough thrive.
Parent of KS2 Child
As my daughter moved schools just over a year ago, I have seen a great improvement in her learning. It is brilliant how the school involves parents in activities. Running the school shop to raise funds and support families is fantastic.
Parent of KS2 Child
There is always a happy friendly atmosphere within the classroom, my son always comes home happy and ready to tell me all the new things he is learnt throughout the day.
Parent of FS Child
The best thing about Clapgate is the community feel from the school. It doesn't feel corporate like other schools, it feels like one big family with the children's best interests at heart. Teaching staff are approachable and always make time for parents if needed.
Parent of a KS1 Child
The teachers are amazing with the kids. I wouldn't have my son go anywhere else. I strongly recommend this school to other parents.
Parent of KS1 Child
She has been the best at teaching use online.
Year 4 Pupil
Well, I think our teacher, Miss Jessop, already supports us enough so I do not think she can support us in any other ways.
Year 6 Pupil
My teacher is Miss Crowther, and I do not think there is anything else she can do! She has been good to me and helped my mum
