6LB Explore, Solve, Challenge

During Spring 2, 6LB were working on the Beyond the Physical topic of Explore, Solve, Challenge. This required children to work collaboratively and individually to solve various challenges around school. Children used their map reading skills, communicated productively in their pairs & groups and worked together to problem solve. The class were brilliant at giving clear instructions to their partner, especially during the blindfolded obstacle course!

It was a joy to teach 6LB this topic. They worked brilliantly together and utilised their problem solving skills. They were extremely motivated to map read and gain points in our orienteering task as well as communicating clearly to their peers within our blindfolded obstacle course! The ideas the children came up with were fantastic and they used their logistical thinking to solve the various challenges
