Nursery- Spring ROARSOME dinosaurs.

This half term, Nursery was excited to share all the wonderful activities that were planned for the coming weeks. To begin, the children learned about the Lunar New Year celebration and explored how it is celebrated around the world. As the season moved towards Spring, they also learned about growing and planting, with opportunities to explore new life and observe seasonal changes.

The children then dived into the exciting world of dinosaurs, discovering these fascinating prehistoric creatures. Through imaginative play and simple research activities, their curiosity was sparked as they explored the prehistoric world. Finally, Nursery celebrated World Book Day with a range of fun activities designed to inspire a love of reading and storytelling.

What the Teacher says

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching this half term. The children came in with excellent prior knowledge about dinosaurs, which made the topic even more engaging and enjoyable—they were truly hooked from the start. It has been wonderful to see them create their own fossils and plant their very own dinosaur garden. Well done, Nursery! - Mrs Haigh
