Diversity Week

20th-24th June 2022 

The whole school from nursery to Year 6 celebrated Diversity Week! We learnt about LGBT+ equality in an age appropriate way, and that all families are special.

Through fun activities, stories and discussions, the children understood the importance of celebrating all kinds of families, that we are kind and we respect difference.

We promote positive messaging around diversity at Clapgate which in turn helps children to feel safe and better their well-being.
