We celebrated Geography Week at Clapgate between 13th June – 17th June 2022. During the week, the children took part in a whole host of engaging and creative activities that educated them on a particular country. Alongside this, the children had an assembly to launch the week, the opportunity to take part in a Swap Shop event led by the school Eco-Committee and even attended our very own ‘Clapgate Carnival’.
The whole week was a great success and gave the children the opportunity to develop their understanding of different places and cultures. They worked on showing the ‘tolerance’ British value through learning about the customs and tradtions of countries from around the globe.
