Welcome to the Reception Home Learning Page

This is the home learning page for Reception – Miss Jasper’s class and Mrs Smith/Miss Bushrod’s class

Home learning if your child is self-isolating

Home learning if the Reception bubble is at home

We will use Tapestry to keep you updated with what we are doing at school. Please follow the ideas in there to support your child’s learning.

You can also watch the phonic video on Tapestry each day with your child so they can see the letter sound that has been taught in the classroom.

Please include some independent play time during the day for your child to initiate their own learning. This could include playing with figures and acting out stories, building with bricks, drawing or painting, role play, playing in the garden etc.

Please share what your child is doing at home with us through Tapestry. You can take photos of them doing their work, take photographs of the work they have done or write a note about what your child has been doing.

We will upload daily videos on Tapestry to support your child at home.

Each day we will put up a maths or a literacy video, a phonics video with the letter sound of the day and also a story. These can be accessed at any time throughout the day so that you can complete them at a time suitable to you and your child.

Other activities will also be shared with you.
